It's FamJam Day and it's sunny. Today is going to be a good day.
We are a bit ambitious and we decide to ditch the kid-carrying packs in lieu for our snowboards.
It is hard to convince the small people to hike up the steep hill. We resort to other creative methods to get reluctant hikers up the mountain.
Right when we were doubting that this would be fun, these guys decide that their legs actually work and start to enjoy the hike.
Made it to the viewpoint. Isn't it spectacular?
Best picnic spot in the city.
After lunch, we hike to the next viewpoint and we are happy to report everyone hiked happily with intermittent breaks for Star Wars gummies.
We make it to the second viewpoint. Must document this moment.
Happy hikers play in the snow.
We get to snowboard on the way down with each of us taking a kid on the board with us. Slightly unsafe but a million times more fun than hiking down.
Besides, it won't be long before these guys are cruising down their own boards with us...
You and your kids are awesome! You are setting such a great example for them t6o be active.
ReplyDeleteIt's amazing how the kids manage to hike up such steep, snow covered mountains just in their snow boots without any crampons!
