So Facebook reminded me that five years ago we made the trek with our toddler girl and my whale-sized preggo belly on the ferry to visit our aunt & uncle in the beautiful Sunshine Coast. Anyways, I can't believe it took half a decade for us to coordinate our crazy schedules to visit again. I am so glad we made it happen. The weekend was all of our favourite things...
Hiking in the woods...
Wide, open green spaces
burying mermaids in the sand...
make that one mermaid and one robot in the sand...
jumping waves (when it's still too cold to be in the water)...
astronomer-in-training practice...
delicious food...
chasing the dog around the house...
ATV-ing down the street (b/c apparently this is OK in Halfmoon Bay)...
and hot-tubbing after dinner...
A lot has changed since 5 years ago....last time we came to visit we just had one ridiculously cute toddler and now we have two crazies that we couldn't imagine life without. Hopefully, it won't be half a decade until we visit again!
